Jade weds Jide

Last November I had the privilege of videotaping a wedding for a couple from Nigeria. It was so neat to see all of the traditions of their culture at the wedding. I really loved the head scarves that they wore and was amazed at how they could wrap them on their heads and stay perfectly without the aid of any bobble pins or clips.

Video blog vs. Written blog

As you may have noticed this blog has been posting more videos than written post. Each video is supposed to be a sneak peak into our life in South Texas but I am not sure if this is being achieved.

When I was doing the challenge of "blogging everyday in June" the last few posts were video posts. The only problem was that I would hardly get any comments on them.

In your opinion do you think a written introduction is needed with the videos?
Maybe video is not the way to go. I am not sure.
