Video blog vs. Written blog

As you may have noticed this blog has been posting more videos than written post. Each video is supposed to be a sneak peak into our life in South Texas but I am not sure if this is being achieved.

When I was doing the challenge of "blogging everyday in June" the last few posts were video posts. The only problem was that I would hardly get any comments on them.

In your opinion do you think a written introduction is needed with the videos?
Maybe video is not the way to go. I am not sure.
