Does this ever happen to you on Facebook? You have a
"friend" via Facebook and you make a generic comment like "Happy
Birthday, Congratulations, or that is great!" and then your comment gets
deleted by them.
How does it make you feel?
For me Facebook is a way to keep in contact with all of my
former co-workers, college buddies, high school buddies, acquaintances and family members.
Everyone on my Facebook I know them from the “real” world. Perhaps this is the
problem with the way Facebook and other social media sites are used. You may
know the person but are not really friends with them in “real” life.
In my mind there is no doubt that social media is changing the way we
interact with each other. The question that arises is how
should we interact with a Facebook “friend” in public if they don’t want
to interact with you on Facebook?
Please leave me your answers below in the comment form and I
will try to respond to every one of them.

I think it is so rude and personally i would delete that person from my friend list. If they are going to delete your comments, they need to go. I had that happen to me and i didnt like it at all.
Took your advise Holli and I have deleted them. It will be interesting to see what happens when I see them in public.
